Joy Denalane ft. Ghostface Killah: HAPPY

We had the honour of producing a music video for German singer-songwriter Joy Denalane for her latest single titled "Happy". The song is a heartfelt tribute to Joy's late father who passed in 2021 and features the legendary Wu Tang Clan member, Ghostface Killah.

The shoot took place over two days in the heart of Soweto, Joy's father's hometown. The vision for the video was to celebrate the theme of death, even though grieving is a difficult process - we wanted to highlight that there is in fact beauty after death. The video features Joy's family members, as well as her husband and son. The energy on set was tangible, everyone joined together to bring this beautiful vision to life - we couldn't be more thankful to everyone involved!
